Terms & Conditions

Payments & refunds. All payments — subscriptions, mentorship bookings, digital products, and other services — are final and non-refundable.

Institutional independence. The Music Making Mindset is an independent platform and holds no allegiance, affiliation, or partnership with any university, conservatorium, or other learning institution.

Membership eligibility — Queensland Conservatorium (QCGU). Due to a conflict of interest, current students of the Queensland Conservatorium — Griffith University's specialist music school, also known as QCGU or “Qld Con” — are not eligible to become members of The Music Making Mindset. This restriction applies to Queensland Conservatorium students specifically, not to Griffith University students generally. Prospective members who are current Queensland Conservatorium students are welcome to join once they have graduated and are no longer enrolled in or affiliated with it. Any member who misrepresents or conceals their current enrolment or affiliation with the Queensland Conservatorium is in breach of these Terms; their membership will be cancelled immediately without refund, and they may be held liable for any loss, damage, or action arising from that misrepresentation.

Nature of advice. All guidance, feedback, lessons, mentorship, and content are general advice only and not legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and outcomes.

Independent legal advice. We strongly recommend seeking independent legal advice before signing any agreement with publishers, labels, management, booking agents, or third parties.

Copyright & IP. All content is protected by copyright and provided for personal educational use only. No content may be copied, shared, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.

Community & user interactions. We are not liable for collaborations, agreements, disputes, or losses arising between users. Engagement between users is at their own risk.

Limitation of liability. The Music Making Mindset, its staff, mentors, and Brendan Anthony are not liable for decisions made on the basis of our content, professional or personal outcomes, or disputes between users.

International use. These terms apply worldwide and are governed by the laws of Australia regardless of your location.

Privacy Policy

We collect the information you provide (such as your email and profile details) and basic usage data to operate and improve the service.

We use your information to provide the service, process payments via our payment provider, and — only with your consent — send marketing updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We take reasonable steps to keep your data secure and use trusted third-party services (e.g. payment and email providers) bound by their own privacy terms.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Community Guidelines

Respect others. Give constructive, kind feedback. No spam or unsolicited self-promotion.

Collaborate safely, protect intellectual property, and do not offer legal, financial, or contractual advice.

Accounts that breach these guidelines may be moderated or removed.

Mentorship Agreement

Mentorship sessions provide general guidance and feedback; they carry no guarantee of any specific outcome.

Payments are due in advance and are non-refundable. Sessions are confidential between you and your mentor.

You retain ownership of your own work. This agreement is governed by the laws of Australia.
